Versarien signs deal with Advanced Insulation for graphene-enhanced insulation materials

The collaboration will focus on incorporating Versarien's Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets into sub-sea insulation materials to improve tear resistance and reducing water absorption of these materials.
"We are very pleased to have entered into this graphene application collaboration agreement with Advanced Insulation, further broadening the sectors addressed by our partnerships," said Versarien Chief Executive Neill Ricketts.
"We believe graphene has the potential to provide significant enhancements to these materials, allowing Advanced Insulation to provide even better products for use in hazardous and extreme environments," added Ricketts.
