Grahope New Materials acquired 70% of Wuxi Graphene Film
Shenzhen-based Grahope New Materials (GNM) has acquired 70% of CVD graphene maker Wuxi Graphene Film from The Sixth Element Materials (who now holds 30% of WGF).

GNM focuses on the R&D of graphene heating technology and the development of graphene products in general. GNM adopts WGF's CVD graphene films in its products - for example in the graphene eye mask we recently reviewed at Graphene-Info.

Wuxi Graphene Film has a CVD graphene production line that can produce about 5 million films annually, and is currently offering several types of flexible touch panels and thermal CVD films.

The Sixth Element Materials reduced its stake in Wuxi Graphene Film as it aims to focus on the mass production of graphene flake production for mass applications like rubber, coatings, plastics, heat dissipation etc. In November 2017 The Sixth Element Materials updated that its graphene-zinc anti-corrosion primer has been deployed in China and has been used to cover several bridges and wind-turbines steel towers.

The Sixth Element Materials is also the supplier of graphene to Huawei's Mate 20 X phone that uses graphene films for heat management. Huawei's Mate 20 X can be bought in the US starting at $790 (note: affiliate link to Amazon).
