Directa Plus has reported that it more than doubled annual revenues, as its various commercial partnerships started to generate orders. Total income in 2018 reportedly rose to €2.5 Million (compared to last year's €1.23 Million) with sales of €2.25 Million (compared to last year's €1 Million) if grants are excluded.

Directa has projects ongoing to incorporate graphene into textiles, pollution treatments and road surfaces.

Giulio Cesareo, chief executive, said: “There is every reason to look forward with great excitement to the coming year's activity at Directa Plus as we move forward on a number of extremely promising fronts."

Losses for the year were little changed at €3.96 Million, while the AIM-listed group closed 2018 with cash of €5.5 Million.
